Taylor is the founder of Small Steps Big Minds and a highly experienced tutor specialising in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and exam preparation. With a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, an MSc in Psychology, and a Level 3 Childcare qualification, Taylor brings a strong academic foundation alongside extensive hands-on experience.
With over 10 years of working with children across a range of settings—including nurseries, private childcare, homeschooling and tutoring—Taylor has developed a deep understanding of how children learn and what they need to succeed. She has particular expertise in supporting children with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences, using tailored, child-centred approaches that build both confidence and academic ability.
Taylor is known for her calm, nurturing approach and her ability to form strong, positive relationships with children. She focuses on creating a structured yet engaging learning environment where children feel safe, understood and motivated to learn.
Her work combines academic support with a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing, helping children not only improve their skills but also develop resilience, independence, and self-belief.
